About Us

Our History

The All Christian Practical Praying Band (ACPPB), commonly referred to as Ekpere Ufuma, is a non-denominational Christian prayer ministry headquartered in Ufuma, a town in Orumba North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Established on May 24, 1957, by the late Pa Eleazar Nwokolo and his wife Madam Sophia Nwokolo, the ministry began as a family prayer gathering and expanded over time due to reported healings and spiritual experiences. ACPPB welcomes members from various Christian denominations, emphasizing unity in prayer and worship.

Emphasis on Prophecy: The ministry places significant importance on the gift of prophecy, believing that members can receive divine messages through the Holy Spirit. Prophets within the band undergo periods of fasting and prayer to validate their spiritual gifts.

Structured Worship: Prayer sessions often include singing, Bible readings, and prophetic declarations. Specific guidelines are followed during these sessions to maintain order and authenticity.
